“Will all those waiting for the arrival of flight 911 please assemble at the rendezvous point,” the announcer bellowed.

I looked up. The old town was as it had always been. A life-time away and some things don’t change.

I walked into the room; our eyes met. In a moment we lived a life together, then we went our separate ways.

Two beginnings lie together in a sea of oil. White and yellow they stare. No hope of resurrection.
